Monday is a good night for T.V. I'm watching Deal or No Deal, which my skeptical husband is now hooked on, then Heroes and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I won't be recording anything, although the DVR is set to record the Jon Stewart Benefit for Autism Charities, which features some really funny people like Jack Black, Adam Sandler and Stephen Colbert.
Last night (or should I say, this morning), I was up until 2:00 a.m. watching "Flavor of Love". Flav picked Deelishis over New York, who completely lost her shit on camera. It's too bad, because she obviously felt much more passionate about Flav, as opposed to Deelishis, who seemed sort of detached about the whole thing. And why I even watched it let alone care about the outcome is a mystery to me.
What are you watching on t.v. tonight?
Tonight, I'm watching Battlestar Galactica!! I've never even seen the show, but I rented the miniseries and was blown the heck away by it. For two years I've been reading reviews in Entertainment Weekly about how good it is, and I've seen it on more than one bloggers' TV Top 10 list, so I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about.
Dude. The writing on BG is of the highest quality. I know a lot of critics dismiss Sci Fi, as if it is not a legitimate form of entertainment or something, but they are wrong about this show. I would say the writing, acting and directing of BG, at least from what I've seen on the miniseries, are as good as anything done on Law & Order or The West Wing.
Tonight I'm watching:
Deal or No Deal
Battlestar Galactica
Law & Order
Tonight I'm recording:
Ghost Whisperer
Numbers
What I'm watching tonight:
Jericho
Lost Season Premiere (yay!)
The Nine Series Premiere
What I'm recording on DVR:
Bones
House
Lost Season Premiere (so I can go back and catch all the clues)
Now that we have DVR, I can see just how pathetic recording to videotape is. I feel like I finally joined the 21st century!
